BLUES takes part in ISYDES 2025

In June, we participated in ISYDES 2025, the first event of its kind organised by the Università degli Studi di Bari Aldo Moro.
Our colleague Davey Essers of Wageningen University & Research (WUR) introduced BLUES to the audience, spoke about our mission, and how we leverage deep eutectic solvents for marine invertebrate multiproduct biorefinery.
The symposium brought together leading scientists from all over the globe, across multiple fields (from fundamental to applied chemistry), aiming to serve as a platform for collaboration and provide an opportunity for industry and academia to meet and exchange ideas. Early career scientists were encouraged to present their research findings and bring fresh perspectives.
In recent years, deep eutectic solvents gained popularity among scientists and industry alike for their wide range of applications: from chemistry and materials science, to engineering, medicine and pharmaceutical, and that's just naming a few! We are excited and grateful to find ourselves at the forefront of these innovations and we are always looking forward to getting our research widely known among our peers!
